Co-Bien aims to implement a platform that helps improve the quality of life of socially isolated elderly people in the border areas between France and Spain through the co-design and manufacturing of an interactive piece of furniture and the creation of an intergenerational network in both countries.
¿Cuál es la contribución?
Deusto is involved in the design and deployment of an inclusive user-centered design methodology that allows us to define the design requirements of the platform (interactive furniture, Social Connection Indicator, and social portal) based on the needs of socially isolated elderly people. After designing and manufacturing prototypes of the furniture, we will continue with the design and development of the software platform to include in the furniture.
