Atelier
Goals
How is it achieved?
In order to achieve the successful implementation of energy-saving measures, ATELIER puts citizens at the centre of all activities: residents (<9000), local initiatives and energy communities are involved in decision-making processes and activities and are strongly involved in the development of technical solutions throughout the project. Citizens are involved in the innovation studios in order to maximise the impact on Positive Energy Districts.
What was our contribution?
The role of the University of Deusto is related to the data management and the systems integration, monitoring and impact assessment. We work hand in hand with the City of Bilbao (BilbaoTIK public entity) for the integration of information in the municipal data management system as well as the generation of Big Data mechanisms for massive information processing. The University of Deusto has also an important role in terms of stakeholder engagement and activation of participative mechanisms. In this sense, we will articulate methodologies for the co-design of smart solution, definition of new business models, deployment of data repositories, etc.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 864374.
