Goals
To protect the smart grid supply chain by ensuring the confidentiality of manufacturers' technical knowledge, the integrity of validation processes, and the proactive detection of cyberattacks in electrical substations, contributing to the cybersecurity of critical energy infrastructure.
What was our contribution?
The University of Deusto leads work package PT2, focused on researching privacy-preserving techniques for the secure exchange of sensitive information between manufacturers and electricity network operators. It contributes to the characterisation of information associated with vulnerabilities and cybersecurity incidents, the analysis of cryptographic protection mechanisms, and the evaluation of their impact on security and performance. Deusto also participates in the experimental validation of results in representative digital substation environments based on the IEC 61850 standard.
