LOGISTAR project releases animated video on the general services under development

LOGISTAR H2020 project coordinated by the university of Deusto has released an animated video showing the three main services that will be provided thanks through the development and implementation of smart algorithms.

1. Optimization of the operation in the warehouse, by using precise estimated time of arrival prediction, incident detection and efficient re-optimization. Thanks to this the use of resources in the warehouse is improved and the waiting time for operations is reduced

2. The second service is the improvement of the routing of the loads in different transport modes, such as trucks, trains and ships. In this way, costs of logistic operations are reduced and the use of infrastructure is optimized.

3. Finally, the third service is focused on the Horizontal Collaborative planning of resources to share costs and reduce emissions. As a result, the number of empty kilometers travelled by trucks is reduced.
