EU Project Manager at DeustoTech in mobility and transportation and Engineer in Industrial Organization management from the University of Deusto. Leire promotes international projects in the area of Intelligent Transport systems (ITS) and Logistics, particularly in the EU Framework Program (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020). She has more than fifteen years of experience in the coordination and management of European R&D projects, she has coordinated the TANGENT (GA no 955273) and TIMON H2020 (GA no 636220) projects, she has led the operational and management aspects of LOGISTAR ( GA no 769142) and participates in the CONDUCTOR (GA no 101077049). Leire began working in the area of R&D projects in 2008, at Indra Sistemas. Managed projects at European level for security-oriented technologies, in the area of chemical detection, protection of critical infrastructure and access control at land borders. She has participated in the coordination of several projects for the Seventh Framework Program (FP7), such as FORLAB (Forensic Laboratory for in-situ evidence analysis in a post blast scenario, GA no 285052), BASYLIS (mobile, autonomous and affordable system to increase safety in large unpredictable environments, GA no 261786), ABC4EU (ABC gates for Europe, GA no 312797).
