Dr. Rubén Sánchez Corcuera is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, as well as in the DEUSTEK research group. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled ‘From Forensic to Preventive: Language Agnostic Approach to Preventive Detection of Malicious Users’ in 2022. This thesis is set in the context of Artificial Intelligence applied to Twitter for the identification of malicious users. Graduated in Computer Engineering (2017), Master in Computer Engineering (2018) and PhD (2022) from the University of Deusto. Rubén has research experience since 2018 when he started as a research assistant at DeustoTech. Since then he has participated in several state and European projects such as Interlink or Greensoul (H2020) related projects from which several scientific contributions have resulted. Rubén is currently working on several European projects, such as Greengage, Protect-Child or EORTC.
