    Victoria Oguntosin holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering from the University of Reading, UK. She has been a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Electrical & Information Engineering at Covenant University, Nigeria for 7 years. She specializes in Robotics, Automation, and AI, with a strong research focus on personalized rehabilitation robotics and AI applications.

    She is an awardee of the 10th edition of the Women for Africa Foundation (MxA) Post-doctoral fellowship program and will be at DeustoTech for six months. She has experience leading research projects and mentoring students in engineering and technology. She is also actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM through various initiatives in Nigeria, including robotics education for young learners. Passionate about innovation and interdisciplinary research, she looks forward to collaborating with colleagues at DeustoTech to advance research in AI-driven robotics and automation.

    During her stay, Victoria will collaborate with the D4K group in applying Reinforcement Learning techniques to assistive robotics, with the goal of developing systems that help people undergoing rehabilitation after an accident through the use of a collaborative robot.
