Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Master's Degree in Development and Integration of Software Solutions and PhD in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Deusto.
Started his professional career in 2010 as a research assistant at DeustoTech, where collaborated in projects related to wireless communications and embedded systems while developing his Master's studies. From 2011 continues his career within the Mobility and Transport group participating as a research technician in projects focused on traceability of goods and logistics management [TRAZAMED, TRACETIC].
In 2016 defends his PhD thesis within the field of mobility and open data, studying solutions for the management and publication of open information focused on multimodal transport. As a result of the thesis he designs a distributed architecture to harmonize and semantically model available transit data.
He is part of Deusto Smart Mobility, one of the groups of the University of Deusto recognized as high performance by the Basque Government (IT1564-22). Since then, he has participated as a specialized technician in numerous national and international R&D&I projects, contributing his experience as a software architect in the design, implementation and deployment of solutions especially focused on the optimization of transport and last mile logistics [TIMON, TANGENT, SENATOR].
He has therefore a decade of experience as a technician specialized in the development and technical coordination of R&D&I projects, collaborating in teaching within the Faculty of Engineering along with other technology transfer activities, contributing to scientific publications (conferences and JCR-indexed articles) within the field of intelligent transportation systems.
