Mendez, Amaia

Telecommunications Engineer and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Deusto, she is currently a professor at the University of Deusto, teaching at the Bilbao campus. Her teaching focuses on the Telecommunications Engineering degree programs, specifically the following courses: Networks I, Digital Television and Video Systems, and Multimedia Networks. Her publications primarily address Biomedical Engineering and new technologies applied to society. In recent years, she has been working on the design and development of digital image processing algorithms and projects aimed at improving the quality of life for people with special needs. She is a member of the DeustoTech Biotech research team.
