Hugo Landaluce is a lecturer in the area of industrial automation at the University of Deusto and a researcher in the fields of communications, automation, and robotics. He holds a degree in Industrial Automation and Electronics Engineering from the University of Deusto (2007), a master’s degree in Advanced Electronic Systems from the University of the Basque Country, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the University of Deusto (2014). He worked as an industrial process programmer for 4 years and has also been involved in coordinating European research projects such as TANGENT and TIMON (H2020). Additionally, he has participated in other research projects at the European, national, and regional levels. His research interests focus on the design of communication protocols for wireless networks and passive devices. He has been doing research and publishing for 12 years and has supervised three doctoral theses.
