Associate Professor at the University of Deusto and Researcher. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and a degree in Computer Engineering. Her teaching activities focus on undergraduate programs, specifically the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and the Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Her teaching primarily concentrates on programming and computer networks.
Her research areas are centered on the personalization of services based on data analysis, the development of machine learning systems supported by quantum computing techniques, sensorization, activity recognition, and context-aware recommendation systems, as well as the evaluation of user experience. These areas have been applied to diverse fields such as healthcare, public administration, industry, elderly care, and Smart Cities.
She has led and coordinated numerous innovation and research projects at European, national, and regional levels. She is a member of the research team “DEUSTEK: Human-centric Computing for Smart Sustainable Communities and Environments,” recognized by the Basque university system as a high-performance team.
