Junqing Huang is a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. He obtained a degree in Mathematics from Ghent University in 2025 and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Beihang University (BUAA), China, in 2015. He has several years of experience in both academic research and industry through his work at Ghent University and Beihang University. His research interests lie in the mathematical foundations and theoretical principles of computer vision and image processing, including partial differential equations (PDEs), wavelet and sparsity theory, optimization theory, and optimal transport. He currently focuses on developing theoretical foundations and models for explainable and controllable generative vision models.
