Sergio Hernández graduated in Digital Industry Engineering from the University of Deusto in 2023 and obtained a Master's in Computing and Intelligent Systems from the same institution in 2024. He began his professional career as an intern at the Basque Government's Information Society (2020-2023), specifically in Innovation and Technological Surveillance, working on various phases of Application Lifecycle Management under the DevOps paradigm. Subsequently, he worked in the Advanced Design and Analysis department at IDOM | Consulting, Engineering, Architecture (2023-2024), where he established himself as a Systems Administrator and undertook some System Architect tasks, a role he later assumed at AidTec in 2024.
Concurrently, Sergio collaborated on research projects such as UROSOUND and BATHMIC at DeustoTech (2022-2024), contributing as the first author in the associated publications. After completing the "Introduction to Quantum Computing" course at the University of Deusto, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Quantum AI at the same university. Sergio joins the Deusto for Knowledge (D4K) team to work on the strategic project promoting quantum computing technologies.
