PhD in Computer Engineering (2007). She is an associate professor and head of the STEAM Vocations strategic line of action at the Faculty of Engineering. Her research focuses on learning technology, STEM education (particularly computational thinking), game-based learning, and human-computer interaction. More than 40 papers in the WoS have published the results of this activity, with 36 of them indexed in the Science Core Collection. She has developed RDI projects in STEM education for primary and secondary education, coordinating 38 projects (10 at European level) and participating in 45 other projects at national and international level.
She actively participates in various activities such as conferences, workshops, trainings, and keynotes, primarily aimed at educational agents such as school leaders, teachers, and students, with the goal of promoting science and technology and sharing her extensive knowledge and experience where it can be beneficial.
