Javier García Zubía holds a degree and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Deusto. He is currently a PhD professor at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Bilbao and Donostia campuses since 1989, and his teaching activity is concentrated in the Industrial Electronics, Industrial Technologies and Computer Science engineering degrees and in the Master's Degree in Automation, Electronics and Industrial Control (MUAECI) where he teaches subjects related to electronics. His publications deal mainly with Technology Enhanced Learning. In recent years he has been working in remote laboratories. He belongs to the DEUSTEK research team recognized by the GV as type A. Other areas of research interest are VHDL programming, FPGA devices and SoC design. He currently has a six-year active research period and has more than 120 publications included in WoS with 884 citations and an H-index of 19. According to Google Scholar he has an h-index of 39.
