Garcia Bringas, Pablo

Dr. Pablo García Bringas: Executive Master in Business Administration from Deusto Business School, and Doctor in Computer Engineering, specializing in the application of Artificial Intelligence to the field of Cyber-Security. He also has a Master's degree in Telecommunications, and a Master's degree in Industrial Computing. He is a professor of engineering at the University of Deusto. He is currently Vice-Dean of External Relations and Continuing Education. He was the founder and director of the new Deusto Chair in Digital Industry. He has developed his professional career in continuous contact with private companies, launching and developing research, technology development and innovation initiatives. In this area he participated in the creation of the DeustoTech technology center, where he has held various positions of responsibility, including general management of the center. He has also been research director of the Faculty of Engineering. His Deusto for Knowledge research team has been recognized by the Basque Government as an excellent research team. He has directed the Deusto Master in Information Security for 11 years, and currently directs the new Executive Program in Industry 4.0. His curriculum includes more than 100 R&D projects awarded and directed, more than 150 scientific publications, 18 doctoral theses supervised, and more than 11 million euros raised. He has directed top-level global scientific-academic events, such as DEXA, CISIS, SOCO, ICEUTE, HAIS, INFOSEC, BIGDAT or DEEP LEARNING BILBAO!
