    Research Assistant

John is a Research Assistant in the Applied Mechanics group at DeustoTech. He holds a degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (2015) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, specializing in the development and characterization of 6063 aluminum composites. Additionally, he completed a Master's in Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and the University of Deusto.

During his Master's, he collaborated with department researchers, performing characterizations of composites using XRD and XRF techniques. He also contributed to the academic community by tutoring university students in Finite Element Analysis, heat and mass transfer, and technical report writing.

In February 2023, he joined DeustoTech as a graduate researcher through an Erasmus-sponsored exchange program, where he completed his Master's focusing on near-solidus forming technology. His research contributions included data analysis and mathematical modeling of metal flow processes, as well as finite element analysis of near-solidus forging of 42CrMo4 steel using Forge NxT software. Currently, he actively participates in the research team working on the industrialization of the NSF project.

Throughout his academic career, he has received several scholarships. He aspires to become a renowned expert in the field of engineering, continuing his pursuit of knowledge and contributing to positive changes in the world.
