Asua Vidri, Iñaki
←Back to Team
Iñaki holds a degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering from the University of Deusto. His integration into DeustoTech marks the beginning of his professional career, following an internship at Iberdrola last year, where he gained experience in the energy sector and the application of innovative technologies. Over the next six months, he will contribute to a research project closely related to his Bachelor's Thesis, allowing him to further develop his expertise in his field of study.
He has always been deeply curious about technology and innovation, which has led him to develop a strong interest in research and the development of new solutions in engineering. Passionate about exploring technological trends, continuous learning, and tackling new challenges, he strives for both professional and personal growth. With an analytical mindset and a strong motivation, he is eager to contribute to the team with his knowledge and enthusiasm for applied engineering.
Iñaki is joining the AM group to work on the DECEOLIC project. His research will focus on the numerical-experimental characterization of the behavior of different steels under warm forming conditions, primarily on the development of damage models to be incorporated into a digital twin of the warm forming process for wind turbine components and carbon footprint analysis.
All of this aims to propose a new manufacturing route for these components, reducing energy consumption and the associated carbon footprint.
