Arretxe Zamakona, Miren

Miren Arretxe is the Administrative Project Manager for the research project funded by the European Research Council Advanced Grant, titled Control for Deep and Federated Learning-CoDeFeL. She holds an MSc in Water Research Management and a PhD in Ecotoxicology from Napier University, in collaboration with the former East of Scotland Water (Edinburgh, Scotland). Throughout her professional career, she has primarily worked in the environmental field, covering various areas such as the development of implementation methodologies to comply with environmental regulatory procedures, simplification tools, and the application of innovative approaches to solve environmental problems. Miren has a proven track record in managing projects developed by public and private entities at the regional, national, and international levels.

In recent years, she has further enhanced her professional profile in specialized areas, providing expert assistance for European funding programs, including ERC projects, as well as regional competitive calls for innovation on environmental topics.
